Ariel Gail
Prof. Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. She is also the director of the Center for Public Policy Research. Her name has been recognized for pioneering the study of child witnesses and eyewitness memories in legal settings. Professor Goodman, who has a wide range of papers and awards to her credit she is also the winner of numerous national and global prizes. She works with a variety of governments and agencies across the world regarding policies as well as the study of child victimization in the court system. She also serves as a consulting for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center), of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is also a Fellow in the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association, (Divisions Experimental Psychology and Developmental Psychology Society for Children and Families Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 57). Professor Goodman is also a member of the Psychonomics Society as well as the American Professional Society for the Abuse of Children and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Professor Goodman was the president of American Psychological Association Divisions for Child and Family Policy and Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
